About This Spot

Stepping into Corcoran's La Défense-Nanterre, you’re met with an inviting buzz that feels both familiar and pleasantly unpretentious. Nestled just a stone’s throw from the rhythm of nearby arenas and city bustle, this spot is a steady hum of lively yet laid-back energy—the kind that welcomes everyone, whether you’re winding down after a show or looking for a casual pause between errands.

The atmosphere here blends an old-school charm with a casual neighborhood vibe. Conversations flow easily over pints of Guinness or carefully poured local ales, while the steady soundtrack of timeless tunes reminds you this is a place where moments are meant to be savored without rush. The pace is friendly and quick without ever feeling pressured—a balancing act that makes it easy to settle in, chat with friends, or simply watch the world drift by through its large windows.

Food here doesn’t just fill a midday gap or post-event hunger; it feels like part of the experience, crafted to pair effortlessly with the bar’s welcoming spirit. Comfort classics like burgers—whether a smoky bacon cheeseburger or a thoughtfully crafted veg option—arrive warm and satisfying, while sides and bites offer familiar, hearty flavors that invite sharing and relaxed indulgence. For those lingering a bit longer, lighter salads and beautifully presented desserts gently stretch the moment into the evening, complementing a slow-drip Irish coffee or a glass of wine.

Corcoran’s is a place where the ebb and flow of local life—concert nights, sports finals, or quiet weekday lunches—imprints itself on the atmosphere. Whether escaping a rain-soaked day or gathering with friends after the stadium empties, the warmth of the service and the easygoing vibe come together to make every visit feel like a small, genuine celebration of everyday pleasures.

We were very wet and tired after we got soaked on the second day of the Olympics. We wanted somewhere where we could have relaxed meal with a couple of beers and be able to watch the sport. They really went above and beyond - we had burgers, real ale and wine. Topped up with the swimming finals which were taking place literally 5 minutes away in the stadium.

Service was splendidly quick and courteous. Food was a bit expensive, but had great flavor. Can't go wrong with hitting up this location after an event at the arena, but make sure to check the times for the last train out!

Had the absolute best night ever at this pub on st Paddy's day for my mums 70th trip to Paris. The whole place is a vibe. Such friendly people and the place was jumping, music was amazing! I'd fly back just to experience this again.
